The Center for the Arts at the Wilmette Park District offers a well-rounded curriculum including dance, music, theater and visual arts. Through classes, workshops, intensives and special events, the Center for the Arts provides ample opportunity for individuals to express ideas and emotions that cannot be communicated with language alone.

Annual Open House: Saturday, September 7
Join the Visual Arts, Dance, Theater and Music department staff for a full Open House! Kids will receive a passport to visit each department where they will play trivia with staff, make projects, try a dance class, work on some improv, tour the backstage of the theater, and visit the musical petting zoo. Registration not required, however children between the ages of 2-14 who register will receive a passport to earn raffle tickets. Meet all our new staff and see what the Cultural and Performing Arts departments are up to this year!
Coming for Fall 2019
Wilmette Pops Children's Chorale! The Center for the Arts is thrilled to offer the first children's choir opportunity to students in grades 1-8. Beginning in September, interested singers will be able to register for the program which will meet once a week and perform throughout the community. More details to come in the fall Explore Guide.
