Tot Lot Renovations
The Tot Lot at Community Playfield is scheduled for renovations that will include equipment replacement, new trees and plants, park benches and rubber play surfaces. 
     The Community Playfield Tot Lot, located off Locust Road, will be completely renovated. Separate play areas will be created for two age groups -- 2 to 5-year-olds and 5 to 12-year-olds. New swings, climbing structures and slides will be installed. A new walk will connect to a patio with a picnic table which will be located between the play equipment and an area with both tot swings and belt swings. A new rubber play surface will be poured in place and will make the entire area accessible.
     Work on the tot lot is expected to begin in late September with a tentative completion date in October.
