Fall Registration Information

Non-Resident: Tuesday, August 17, at 9 a.m.

Let our caring, highly qualified and well-trained babysitters care for your children ages six weeks and up in our fully equipped and comfortable babysitting room while you participate in our programs. A variety of recreation activities, along with loads of toys and books are available for playtime fun and ensures your children a safe and happy stay.

Reservations can be made at least 24 hours in advance, between 8 a.m.-noon, Monday through Friday, subject to space availability. Reservations are required for infants six weeks to 12 months of age and for Saturday babysitting. You may also register for a standing time slot for an entire session. When signing up for a standing time slot, participants must register the child (or youngest child if more than one child needs babysitting service) with a $10 registration fee, which will be applied toward the total fee. Participants will be billed for the session based on their needs and availability, and must pay for the entire session on the first scheduled day. Participants are limited to two hours of babysitting per day up to a maximum of eight hours per week. Note: We cannot accept children under the age of six weeks. The Park District reserves the right to cancel your space for the session after three no-shows, or for non-payment of fees. For more information contact Babysitting at 847-256-9633.

Babysitting Passports

     For your convenience, Babysitting Passports are now available. Babysitting discount packages/passports may be purchased either at the Center Fitness Club or the front desk of the Community Recreation Center. Babysitting Passports are nontransferable, non-refundable, cannot be shared and expire 60 days from date of purchase.

Early Bird Babysitting for 2010-2011 School Year

     Early Bird Babysitting is available during the school year from 7:30-9 a.m. for Preschoolers and Kindergarten Enrichment students registered in Wilmette Park District morning classes. There is a non-refundable $50 registration deposit for Early Bird Babysitting. Fees are paid in nine equal payments, due on the 10th of each month, with the first payment due by August 10, 2010.      Note: In order to provide the best transition for your child, Early Bird Babysitting will begin on the second day of the program. Please plan to bring your child directly to their first day of Preschool or Kindergarten Enrichment.
