Video Golf Swing Analysis
Indoor Winter Golf Instruction
Improve your swing this winter by working with our PGA Professionals and the V1 Coaching System in a series of private indoor lessons. Students hit into an indoor net while their swing is being recorded. This system gives our PGA Professionals the chance to analyze your swing on a frame-by-frame basis. Students can view a copy of the lesson on their home computer by logging on to the V1 Home website. Learn the correct positions that make a great golf swing. Compare your swing to your favorite touring professional. Lessons are offered by the half hour for one or more students. A discount is offered for a six-lesson series. To schedule lessons click here or call the Golf Pro Shop at 847-256-9777.

Youth Instruction
Tiny Aces Program
Age 5-10
This 4-week program for young players has been expanded to add severval new sessions and age ranges. Parents are encouraged to attend these classes—although it is not mandatory. Kids will only be taught to have fun and respect the other kids and the golf course. We will play games and blast golf balls into the stratosphere! Fees are $88 for residents and $110 for non-residents. For more information call the Pro Shop at 847-256-9777. Maximum 10 students per class.
Advanced Junior Group
Age 8-17
This group will meet twice a week for four weeks to discuss swing concepts, short game methods, skills and course management. Emphasis will be on tournament play. The group will play 18 holes each day after the session and will turn in scores for publication. There will also be many informal tournaments, with something—most of all bragging rights—riding on every round. Our Director of Instruction, Kim McCombs, will determine eligibility for participation. Class sizes will range from a minimum of eight to a maximum of 16. This group will be asked to integrate on occasion with other youth groups, both group lessons and camps. Fees are $145 for residents and $185 for non-residents. For more information call the Pro Shop at 847-256-9777.
Junior
Age 11-17
Our junior classes are meant to be fun. During these 4-week sessions we introduce the basic concepts of the long and short game, as well as accepted parameters of behavior on and around the golf course. It has been our experience that if kids know what is expected of them at a golf course, and are able to enjoy the game as it was meant to be enjoyed, the learning of the game takes care of itself. Here’s the opportunity to lay the foundation for a life time of enjoying the game of golf. Fees are $88 for residents and $110 for non-residents. For more information call the Pro Shop at 847-256-9777. Maximum 10 students per class.
Junior Summer Golf Academy
Ages 8-13
Young golfers learn the swing basics and proper golf etiquette from our professional Wilmette Golf Club staff. Eight instructional sessions of 1½ hours each are featured within a two-week time frame. All golf cadets accompanied by an adult may play golf free-of-charge after 7 p.m. for the entire season. Fees are $275 for residents and $320 for non-residents. This camp meets at the Wilmette Golf Club.
Adult Instruction
Adult Novice
Age 18 & up
This class is meant for golfers with little or no experience. During these 4-week sessions we will introduce students to fundamentals of the swing and the short game, as well as teaching the basics of getting around a golf course, etiquette, making tee times and joining groups. We try to give as much individual instruction as time will allow. At the end of this course students should be able to play golf with their friends and enjoy the game of a lifetime. Fees are $91 for residents and $113 for non-residents. For more information call the Pro Shop at 847-256-9777. Maximum 12 students per class.
Adult Intermediate
Age 18 & up
This class is meant for students who have played before or taken beginning golf lessons. There is no need to be an accomplished golfer. During these 4-week sessions we will work with advanced swing concepts, the short game and concentrate on putting to improve scores. In this class, students get to know each other and form groups that lead to their regular games. Experience levels are varied, so a good deal of time is spent on individual instruction. Fees are $91 for residents and $113 for non-residents. For more information call the Pro Shop at 847-256-9777. Maximum 10 students per class.
