Centennial Family Aquatic Center
Outdoor Aquatics Facility
2300 Old Glenview Road, Wilmette

• 50 meter - 8 lane lap pool
• Zero depth family leisure pool with water slides
• Diving pool with high dive, low dive and drop slides
• Wading pool
• Full service concession area
• Large sun deck

Title: Lifeguards
Qualifications:

• Must be at least 16 years of age to apply.
• You must successfully complete a swim test consisting of a 200 meter non- stop swim using freestyle or breaststroke (no backstroke), a two minute tread with hands out of the water, recovery of a 10 lb diving brick from deep water, and a compact jump off a lifeguard chair.
• You must attend all scheduled site specific lifeguard training on the dates designated at Centennial Family Aquatic Center to certify you as a StarGuard Lifeguard
• You must have a friendly, outgoing, personality with a positive attitude and the ability to work well with others in a team-oriented environment.
• You must be available to work the entire summer without a vacation or time off that exceeds one consecutive week.

Title: Swim Instructors
Qualifications:

• Must be at least 16 years of age to apply.
• Friendly, outgoing personality, positive attitude and the ability to work well with others in a team-oriented environment.
• Prior swim lesson teaching experience preferred.
• Must enjoy working with children. 
• Must have one verifiable reference that involves working with or caring for children.
• Hours are Monday through Friday 9:30 am-1 pm and Saturday or Sunday 8:45-11 am
• Teach Private Lessons at $14 per ½ hour!
• Must be available for the entire lesson season (June 1 to July 31)
• Teach Semi Private Lessons at $21 per ½ hour!
