I. Meeting Called to Order
Meeting was called to order at 6:32 p.m.
II. Approval of Minutes
A. Commissioner Pellaton moved and Commissioner Abbott seconded a motion to approve the April 24, 2017 meeting minutes. All voted yes; motion carried.

V. Unfinished Business
A. 2016 Comprehensive Annual Financial Report - Presentation
Ms. Ann Vanvooren commented on the Management Letter. Ms. Vanvooren highlighted issues of PCard authorization, accounts receivable reconciliation and the Governmental Accounting Standards Board (GASB) Accounting and Financial Reporting for Pensions. Next Ms. Vanvooren presented and discussed the Comprehensive Annual Financial Report (CAFR). The Committee discussed the analysis of the report with Ms. Vanvooren.
Former Superintendent Eppelheimer provided additional comments.
Commissioner Abbott moved and Commissioner Pellaton seconded a motion to accept the 2016 Comprehensive Annual Financial Report and recommend approval to the full board.
B. Superintendent Holloway presented responses to the questions that arose from the previous meeting of the committee. He addressed the following items: tax levy revenue, salaries, and the donation line item.
VI. New Business
A. 2017 Prevailing Wage Ordinance, 2017-O-3
Superintendent Holloway noted that the County has not updated their prevailing wage rates. The rates presented are the same as last year.
Commissioner Pellaton moved and Commissioner Abbott seconded a motion to accept and recommend approval of the Prevailing Wage Ordinance, 2017-O-3 the full Board.
VII. Next Meeting
The next meeting of the Financial Planning & Policy Committee is scheduled for June 26, 2017 at 6:30 p.m.
There being no further business to conduct, the Financial Planning & Policy Committee meeting was adjourned at 8:01 p.m.
