Pirate Camp registrations are going well with 92% of the sessions sold out.

Commissioner Brault stated he had been in conversations with Loyola Tennis who were very complimentary on the communication and how well the District worked with them.

Terry Juliar reported that the youth hockey program was done for the season and that the Wilmette Hockey Association would return after spring break. Public skate sessions continue to be slow which is usually the case during this time of year.

Terry stated the old rubber tiles have recently been replaced in the lobby area and that they are being reused to cover the concrete areas of the bleacher seating.  A discussion developed concerning broomball leagues and Terry stated he would look into it and report back to the Committee.

4) Superintendent Bowen stated preliminary work continues to identify areas of concern with the ice compressor system. The rink is scheduled to be closed after the Ice Show for maintenance repairs.

Superintendent Bowen stated that last Friday he, Terry Juliar and Brian Udany met with New Trier Hockey to discuss next season’s ice schedule. Jeff reported that the discussion was very cordial and New Trier left the meeting stating that they believed they would be able to utilize all the ice they had originally committed to last year. Discussion took place concerning the commitments that both New Trier and the Wilmette Hockey Association (WHA) had made last year but had not fulfilled.  Commissioner Brault asked Superintendent Bowen to distribute a memo that Jeff had written detailing the history of the events with New Trier and the WHA.

Jeff stated that a meeting will soon be scheduled to discuss next year’s season with WHA.

There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned at 7:25 p.m.
