1) The meeting was called to order at 6:31 p.m.
2) The Committee approved the minutes of the February 22, 2010 Committee meeting by General Consent
3) Under Managers Reports, Darrell Smith reported that permanent court time lottery will be held on April 4. The lesson program continues with over 900 students and camp registrations are going well with several sessions sold out.
4) Brain Udany reported that the mid-winter session for Ice was at the halfway point and there are 860 students which is five less than last year. The Ice Show titled “Opposites Attract” has 231 participants signed up and camp registration is also starting to come in. Brian stated that Terry Juliar has negotiated a spring and summer ice contract with the Skokie Hockey Leagues which will bring in approximately $30,000 in additional income. The Skokie rink is under construction this summer and having them use our facility has worked out very well.
Brian stated that pool summer staff interviews are continuing with most of the positions already filled for the summer. He stated he has been working with the Fitness Center and has developed a new Pool/Fitness membership for this summer.
