I. Meeting Called to Order
Meeting called to order at 8:30 a.m.

II. Approval of Minutes
     A. Minutes from March 8, 2014

     B. Commissioner Wolfe moved and Commissioner Abbott seconded a motion to approve the minutes of the March 8, 2014 Golf Committee meeting. All approved by general consent.

III. Communications and Correspondence
 Mike Matchen introduced Adam Kwiatkoski, Business Manager. Adam Kwiatkoski gave an update on the last two weeks of getting acclimated on the job. He visited Deerfield Golf Course to see how their computer system compares to the Wilmette Park District.

 Mike Matchen announced that the greens that were reseeded are all coming in and growing well. All three lakes have been expanded all across the back.

 Mike Matchen stated that Greg Martin, the course Architect, came out and was very pleased with where we are at with golf course. Greg Korneta, Vice President of Wadsworth Golf, Pat Karnick, President of Wadsworth Golf and Mario Site Superintendent walked through to see if there was any winter damage. Mario will be out with the crew next week to start going through grounds.

 Commissioner Brault asked if the drainage of the new greens could be judged. Mike Matchen stated drainage on the new greens and the rest of the golf course is flowing well. Mike Matchen stated that the areas that needed a little work were areas they knew about last year. There was no additional damage.

 Commissioner Brault asked if there are any financial contingencies. Mike Matchen stated that any planned expenditures have been included in the operational 2014 budget.

 Commissioner Brault asked how far along, Mike Matchen stated that contractors are 95% done with everything. Commissioner Abbott asked if we are holding any retention, Director Wilson stated 5%; everything is within budget. Arrogation starting next week this is part of the contract with Wadsworth. They will come back out and GPS the entire golf course.

 Visitor asked the question if there will be a development of a new score card. Mike Matchen commented as soon as we have the yardages and CD of the drainage, they will then come out and rerate the golf course. Questions rose about score cards and where to place them, discussions to continue again. Due to buy golf carts again in 2017.
