17th  Century Music Concert
Sunday, April 21
3-4 p.m.
The Chicago Viols, a viola da gamba ensemble under the direction of Craig Trompeter, will perform a concert of 17th Century music featuring works by William Byrd, Henry Purcell, Alfonso Ferrabosco, Johann Sebastian Bach, and Marc-Antoine Charpentier. The concert will include an interactive discussion and refreshments will be served. Kindly provided by SASI (Services for Adults Staying in Their Homes). Cinco de Mayo Celebration

Noon-2:30 p.m.
May is the month to recognize Mexican culture with its wonderful food and music. We will dine on tacos, rice and beans, fresh watermelon and for dessert, ice cream sundaes. Musical entertainment by a singer/guitar player, serenading us with lovely Hispanic tunes. Margaritas, regular and non-alcoholic will be served. Fees are: Members $15/ Non-Members $17. Sunday Afternoon Concerts in the Park

Come to beautiful Mallinckrodt Park to enjoy free summer concerts around the park gazebo.  Bring a lawn chair and your water bottle and enjoy! These free concerts begin at 4 p.m.

We’re kicking off the Mallinckrodt summer concert series with free ice cream! Come inside the Mallinckrodt Community Center before the first concert to sample a delicious ice cream sundae buffet.

Honor Our Fathers Luncheon

Noon-2 p.m.
Join us in this celebration of fathers, husbands and sons. Entertainer David Molinary will bring the World War II era back through lively stories and songs. Lunch will include salad, BBQ sandwiches, chips and dessert. Don't miss this chance to travel back in history and relive some memories from days past. Fees are: Members $15/ Non-Members $17. 4th of July Patriot Celebration
Tuesday, July 2
5-7 p.m.
Wear your red, white and blue and join us on the patio of the Mallinckrodt Center. Dine on the All-American fare of brats and chicken along with cole slaw, potato salad, fruit salad and dessert. After dinner listen to summer tunes and patriotic favorites. It will be a lovely evening in beautiful Mallinckrodt Park. Note:  This event will be moved inside if weather is inclement. Importance of Early Registration

It is important to register early for the trips and programs offered by The Mallinckrodt Community Center because theaters, restaurants and instructors require several weeks notice for confirmation. In order to meet these deadlines, decisions must be made well in advance whether or not to cancel programs. We do not want to disappoint anyone, so please register early.

Registration, Cancellation and Refund Policy

Reservations are taken on a first-come, first-serve basis payable at the time of registration. If you must cancel out of a day trip, refunds will be issued only if we are able to fill the opening from a wait list. There is a 10% service charge, or a minimum of $5 on all trip cancellations. A full refund is provided when we cancel a program or activity due to low registration.
