Adult Instruction: Age 18 & up

Ladies' Intro to Paddle
This class is for students with little or no knowledge of platform tennis. Students will learn the mechanics of basic strokes, scoring and paddle etiquette in a fun and nurturing environment.

Ladies' Intermediate Paddle
This class is designed for students who know the paddle basics and/or have successfully completed Intro to Paddle classes. We will be reviewing the basic strokes, positioning and screen play. Class time will focus on consistency in strokes and doubles strategy.

Ladies' Advanced Paddle
For the experienced paddle player who is interested in drilling and playing doubles with a variety of players. The first 45 minutes of class will be dedicated to warm-up drills and strategy drills. Inthe second half of class students will play supervised doubles.


Co-ed Paddle Drill
This is a fun and dynamic format for learning all the basics of platform tennis including: court positioning, stroke technique, screen play, communication, scoring and the rules of the game.

Silver Paddle Drill & Play
Active players age 55 and older, this class is for you! Gain confidence in your shot making, refine stroke mechanics and work on fitness components to improve your game.


Men's Intro to Paddle
This class is for those who have little or no knowledge of platform tennis. Students will learn the mechanics of basic strokes, scoring and paddle etiquette.

Men's Intermediate Paddle
This class is designed for students who know the paddle basics and/or have successfully completed Intro to Paddle classes. We will be reviewing the basic strokes, positioning and screen play. Class time will focus on consistency in strokes and doubles strategy.


Junior Instruction

Paddle Tennis 5-7 Years
Children will have so much fun learning the basics of the game, they might not even realize they are in an instructional class designed to develop their racquet skills, help them gain confidence in their hand-eye coordination and learn the nuances of the sport.

Paddle Tennis 8-10 Years
During the session, students will further develop skills learned in previous classes.  Students will engage in challenging, interactive games and drills, competitive point play as well as agility and endurance exercises.

Paddle Tennis 11-14 Years
Students in this class will enjoy fast paced drills emphasizing match strategy, shot control, positioning and team work.  There will also be an emphasis on camaraderie, cooperation, sportsmanship and proper paddle etiquette.

High School Paddle Match Play 14-18 Years
Get a leg up on your competition this season by playing paddle matches against your peers.  During the matches, coaches will be moving from court to court offering observations, suggestions and encouragement. Open to all high school students.


Ladies Leagues Practices

Ladies' Series 10, 13, 14 and 15 Practices
Wilmette Park District is a part of North Shore Women's Platform Tennis League (NSWPTL) and currently has five ladies' teams ranging from series I-XV. Each team practices and plays matches on their designated days of the week. To participate in a team drill, players must be members of the Wilmette Platform Tennis Club as well as members of the team.


Private/Semi-Private Lessons

Sharpen your skills with personalized instruction from the pro! The 3-on-1 format is the best way to improve your strategy and shot selection while playing your matches. The 2-on-1 is perfect for you and your partner to better communication skills. Private instruction is excellent for focusing on select shots such as the screens, serve, return of serve and the first volley! Call for an appointment and availability at 847-920-3678.
