The North Shore Theater of Wilmette, began 63 years ago as the Wilmette Little Theater. One of the founding members was Hugh Downs, and we proudly count Mike Nussbaum, Michael Maggio, and Robert Urich as our talented alumni. Our memorable theatrical moments include presentations of A Midsummer's Night Dream and Twelfth Night, the first theatrical productions staged at the Wallace Bowl in Gillson Park. Audience demands for lighter fare launched us into producing musicals, and to this day we continue to present a mix of shows to enthusiastic and critical approval.

Our primary goal remains to offer quality community-based theater to our audience. We are constantly seeking the highest caliber stage directors, musical directors, choreographers, and technical staff to ensure the high quality theater you, our audience, deserve.
