We’ll have music for dancing and games for fun. Learn some line dances and take part in a limbo contest. Indulge in a build-your-own sundae bar. Each couple will receive a 5 x 7 photo of their special night out. You are welcome to bring more than one daughter. The fee for an additional daughter is R- $20/NR-$25.

Filled with chills and thrills, this family-friendly event features carnival games, magician, fortune teller, moonwalk, arts & crafts, face painting, mad scientist’s lab and pony rides. Don’t miss the Theater of Terror! Pizza dinner is included along with a goodie bag and a visit to the Pumpkin Patch. Wristbands will be issued upon check-in at the event and will be required to participate in all activities. All children must be accompanied by an adult. Maximum of two adults per family.  

The leaves are changing and the days will soon be growing cool. Help us celebrate the fall season at the Lakeview Center in Gillson Park on Friday, October 21, with an evening of fun-filled activities. Decorate your own pumpkin, try your luck at “stay dry” apple bobbing and go on a scavenger hunt. We provide the pumpkins and decorating supplies. Community Shred Event Scheduled for Sept. 10

9 a.m. to Noon
The Mallinckrodt Community Center
     Dispose of cancelled checks, bank statements, old income tax forms, as well as medications and cell phones in a secure and ecologically friendly manner. Shredding takes place in the Mallinckrodt Community Center parking lot, 1041 Ridge Road. Disposal of medications and cell phone recycling takes place inside the Center. 

Enjoy the rock and roll sounds of two bands: Hoopla and The TbyrdZ. 

All programs are free. No smoking is allowed.

The Fun Run in Gillson Park begins at 8 a.m. with a Run and Walk event for Adults. The Youth Run and Pee Wee Run will be held at staggered times beginning at 9:15 a.m. To register online for this event click here.

Dispose of old documents securely and ecologically at this free community-wide shred event scheduled from 9 a.m. to noon on Saturday, Sept. 18. Personal documents such as cancelled checks, bank statements and old income tax returns are ideal for the safe disposal that shredding provides. The shredding will take place in the parking lot of the Mallinckrodt/Meskill Center, located at 1041A Ridge Road, Wilmette. The shredding service is kindly provided by Edens Bank.
