Spring 2008 Production:
"After all those years being stuck on a page, did you ever imagine you'd see me onstage?
Now I'm here, there is no telling what may ensue! No, there's no telling what! But I'll
give you a clue." So says the mischievous Cat in the Hat at the onset of this fantastical,
magical, musical extravaganza. Lynn Ahrens and Stephen Flaherty (Lucky Stiff, My Favorite
Year, Once On This Island, Ragtime: the Musical, Anastasia) have brought the denizens of Dr.
Seuss's delectable world to dazzling musical life, and all your favorites are here, including
The Cat in the Hat, Horton the Elephant, Gertrude McFuzz, Mayzie LaBird and the Who's Who of
Whoville Whos -- all on one stage. These classic tales are seamlessly brought together by Jojo,
a young Who and "thinker of strange and wonderful thinks!" And as each one unfolds, you'll marvel
at the simple profundity of the incomparable Dr. Seuss -- making Seussical a true happy hit that
appeals to all ages from 1 to 1001 -- maybe more!
