A club t-shirt is included with membership.

The child who likes both paint and clay will love the format of this class: some classes focus on ceramic handbuilding and glazing, while other classes concentrate on painting techniques such as sponge and brush.

NEW Pinterest Art Class
Explore the newest art trends in this unique crafting class! Each week will explore a different kind of creative project-from upcycled jewelry to macrame and weaving, wall art and dream catchers...we pick our projects based on what's popular and exciting. Students will complete several projects and share pictures of them on our community "Pinterest" board in the Art Studio.
Our most popular art program is now designed to help student progress in this wonderful medium! Coils, slabs, clay sculpting and glazing techniques will be taught on an appropriate level for each class.
Explore the fundamentals of shading, weight, depth and perspective. After two sessions of Drawing class, students will be welcome to register for Advanced Drawing, where they can hone their skills and tackle more complex subjects. Both levels of drawing will use various media, such as pencil, ink and charcoal, as well as different papers and canvases.
NEW Kids Knit
The knit stitch is the only stitch you need to get started knitting beautiful items for yourself or as gifts. Once you know how to cast on, knit a simple knit stitch, and cast off you can create a multitude of projects. In this class, you will learn how to cast yarn on to knitting needles, how to make the knit stitch and you are on your way to scarves, coasters, cup cozies, hats, washcloths, fingerless gloves, even sweaters. We will talk about how important counting stitches and rows are, how the type and thickness of yarn and the size of needles can change projects and how to choose the right needles for your project.
On The Wheel
Beginning and continuing students explore throwing techniques on the potter's wheel. We concentrate on centering and throwing, and practice the art of pulling handles and trimming. Glazes in different brush methods finish our pieces. We also cover hand-building techniques. Students are encouraged to continue beyond one session to learn proper technique and work on more advanced projects.
NEW Design and Textiles
Welcome to the world of fashion and sewing! If you are interested in designing and redesigning clothing or costumes, this class is for you. Throughout this hands-on course, students will explore elements of design and clothing styles, cultural and historic aspects of clothing, and construction of ready-made pieces. Various sewing and textile projects will be created using hand sewing techniques and the sewing machine.
