SPRING 2022 YOUTH SOCCER LEAGUE
Grades K-8
- Registration Deadline: March 23 (we will start a waitlist after the final registration deadline)
- Spring Season 2022: April 23-June 4 (June 11 rain date)
In this league, boys and girls play in separate leagues divided into grade levels depending on the number of registered players. Grade K-4 players are organized into teams based on the school they attend. 5-8 grade players play on mixed school teams. Players registered for the Fall/Spring option will remain on their teams this spring. New Spring registrants will be assigned to teams. We do not accept friend requests or preferred team placement requests.
Uniforms & Equipment: the Wilmette Park District provides team uniforms consisting of a jersey, shorts and socks, which should be worn to all games. These uniforms are for both the Fall 2021 and Spring 2022 season. Participants must provide their own rubber soccer cleats and shin guards.
Coaches: we rely on parents and friends for all coaching duties. Anyone interested in volunteering may contact Taylor Brooks at 847-256-9690 or tbrooks@wilpark.org. We allow a maximum of two coaches per team for all levels.
Games: we play all games on Saturdays at Community Playfields, located between Highcrest Middle School and Wilmette Junior High School. Games take place between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m.
